Ski Festival in the Large Hill – World Cup, DJ Özzi, and free entry for youngsters on 26 November

On Wednesday, 26 November, a real ski festival awaits at Lugnet in Falun. That’s when the men’s World Cup competition in the large hill will take place, with all of the world’s best jumpers on-site and ready for action.

As on all competition days, DJ Özzi will be in the stands, boosting the atmosphere with music throughout the entire day.
– We’re ready for a party, and soon it’s showtime. I’ll be in charge of the music and make sure it becomes an incredible celebration in the hill, says Adam Östberg, DJ Özzi.

Because Falun Municipality’s schools have a study day on this Wednesday, the gates will open a bit wider – all children and young people up to 18 years old will have free admission. It’s a chance for young people to experience the excitement of the World Cup up close and take part in the first major ski day of the winter at Lugnet.

On-site you’ll also find Falun Municipality’s “Fritid för unga” and the Swedish Ski Association’s “Alla på snö” (“Everyone on Snow”), offering try-out activities and winter sports for anyone wanting to test something new or just have fun together in the snow.

– We want all young people in Falun to experience the joy of skiing on 26 November, and we hope many will come, try something new, and create memories together. It will be a day full of world-class sport and community – a true winter celebration for everyone, says Jonas Peterson, CEO of Falun 2027 Ski World Championships.

Free youth tickets is found here and in all ticket shops when you choose the 26th and 8-18 years.
