Jonas Peterson steps down as CEO – Kajsa Sjösvärd appointed acting CEO and Sara Tigerström Monfelt appointed Deputy CEO

Jonas Peterson has decided to step down from his position as CEO of Falun 2027. The board has therefore appointed Kajsa Sjösvärd, currently Head of Security, as Acting CEO, and Sara Tigerström Monfelt, currently Chief Operating Officer, as Deputy CEO. Both are already employed by the company and part of the management team.
– We are very pleased with this solution. The fact that it could be implemented quickly and with colleagues who are already part of the management team ensures continuity and maintains the project’s momentum and capacity, says Roza Güclü Hedin, Chair of Skid-VM i Falun 2027 AB.

Jonas Peterson’s decision to leave the role is based on the extensive demands of the position combined with the commute between Falun and Borås, which has become too challenging. He will remain with the organization during a transition period to ensure a safe and structured transfer of knowledge.
– The organization is well equipped with a competent management team and a strong, dedicated staff. The work continues as planned and with full force, focusing on upcoming competitions and preparations for the 2027 World Ski Championships, says Roza Güclü Hedin, Chair of Skid-VM i Falun 2027 AB.
