Construction work for this winter’s FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Falun is now well underway. Loxam/Ramirent has signed an agreement to become a Technical Supplier to Falun 2027 and will provide a wide range of equipment and solutions needed to deliver the major winter sporting event.
Loxam/Ramirent and the Falun 2027 organisers already worked closely together during the FIS World Cup events this past winter. Ahead of the 2027 World Championships, the partnership is now being further strengthened.
— We are proud and delighted to present Loxam/Ramirent as a Technical Supplier to Falun 2027. Loxam/Ramirent will provide important products and solutions for the delivery of the event, including electricity, temporary infrastructure and other equipment needed to create a fully functional venue. Loxam/Ramirent will also supply a number of waxing cabins for the World Championships, says Thomas Ekhammer, responsible for major procurement at Falun 2027.
Loxam/Ramirent’s on-site installations at Lugnet will begin in the autumn and will be gradually completed in the run-up to the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships.
— We are very proud to be part of Falun 2027. A World Ski Championship places high demands on logistics, infrastructure and flexibility, and these are areas where we can contribute our experience and broad range of solutions. Through the supply of electricity, cabins, scaffolding and other equipment, among other things, we look forward to helping create the conditions for a successful Championship and a celebration that engages people across Sweden, says Jens Sjöberg, CEO of Loxam/Ramirent.
