Would you like to secure your place as a volunteer at the FIS Nordic Ski World Championships in Falun this winter?
Then make sure to submit your application through the volunteer portal no later than Friday, 10 July. After that, the portal will close for a couple of months.
A few weeks ago, applications opened for those who want to become one of our Heroes (volunteers) during this winter’s FIS Nordic Ski World Championships in Falun. We have already received 700 applications.
“We are delighted by the positive response. We expect to have around 2,000 volunteers – or Heroes, as we call them. Together, they will form an incredible team that will create something truly special. Every single Hero will help create lifelong memories, both for themselves and for all our visitors and athletes,” says Maria Hållmarker, who works with volunteers at Falun 2027.
The volunteer portal will remain open until Friday, 10 July. It will then close and reopen in the autumn.
“We encourage everyone to register now. By applying early, you’ll have a better chance of getting a volunteer role in the area you’d most like to work in, as well as being assigned to the days that suit you best,” says Agnes Larsson Lyckholm, Volunteer Coordinator at Falun 2027.
