First of all, a warm welcome to join the opening ceremony at Stora Torget in Falun at 6pm on Friday February 27. On stage, we have great company from world and local stars, including Maja Dahlqvist, Moa Ilar, Calle Halvarsson, Truls Gisselman, Jessie Diggins, and our ambassador, Charlotte Kalla.
Kicking off the weekend with the world stars
The competitions are kicking off on Saturday morning, and we will greet athletes from Val di Fiemme, hopefully including Frida Karlsson and Ebba Andersson. Saturday features a sprint, and Sunday features a skiathlon. On top of having stars in the tracks, we are honored to have a cheering star in the crowd – His Majesty the King.
The weekend will be filled with lots of fun around the arena. Flås will be on-site to warm up the crowd. Between races, DJ Özzi will handle the music, and Dansa i Falun will perform.

Keep happy during the day
We have 13 food trucks on the area, offering meals and candy, and if you prefer to eat indoors, we have a lunch buffet served by Mat vid Siljan. Our mascot, Bubo, will be walking around, and if you have kids with you, make sure to bring them to Bubo’s tent for facial painting. Saturday is wrapping up the day with the afterski at Lugnet (separate ticket required but sold out in writing moment).

There you will find your ticket, you can purchase lunch, and parking (ordinary, VIP, EV, accessible), and you will get the latest updates. Keep in mind that for every purchase you make, you will get a unique QR code, each one valid for a different purchase.
