Chatarina Eriksson has been appointed Head of HR for the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Falun 2027and will be responsible for both strategic and operational HR matters concerning the employees of the organizing company and the 1,600 volunteers who will be engaged in the event.
As Head of HR for the 2027 World Ski Championships in Falun, Chatarina Eriksson will play a key role within the organization, with a focus on ensuring a healthy work environment, an inclusive organizational culture, and effective collaboration, both for the employees and for all volunteers.
– I’m really looking forward to this. It’s a fantastic event that impacts the entire Dalarna region and even Sweden as a whole. It feels exciting to be part of it, says Chatarina Eriksson:
– The volunteers, our heroes, are incredibly important to the organization, and I’m excited to work on creating the best possible conditions for them. I am also looking forward to collaborating with all the stakeholders involved in the World Championships and experiencing the power of working together toward such a major event, she adds.
Chatarina Eriksson most recently served as CEO of Visit Dalarna and has previously held the position of HR Director at The Swedish retail monopoly Systembolaget.
